LoL okay yea i said i wouldn't be posting here anymore but oh well, i am going to right now, just now. i'm just writing to clarify and explain some things about my new journal because i understand it can get confusing.

second, to add a comment to any of my entries, just click on the words "dream with me" and a window should pop up where you can write your comment. for e-props, well, instead of eprops Greymatter blogging program has Karma. clicking on (+) means like 2 eprops and (-) is like none LoL.

thirdly, i know there are some people who read my Xanga that aren't Xanga members and couldn't comment or eprop since they weren't members. however, with my new journal, everyone can now give me comments and karma. you don't have to be a member of anything. so if you were one of those lurkers, well, lurk no more!

finally saw The Pianist with my sister last night. i really liked it and i hope Adrien Brody wins the Best Actor Oscar this year for his performance. all he ate were hard-boiled eggs and some fruit so that he could lose 30 pounds, and to prepare for the emotional aspect of his character, he didn't have any contact with his friends so that he could get the whole "alone and lonely" character. he had a German coach and a piano coach for the role. he really did a lot to play Wladyslaw Szpilman.

as for the movie itself, it was a different World War II type of movie for me because 1)it was about a real person who survived it, 2) it was more about the person than soldiers themselves, and 3) it showed that not all the German captains and soldiers weren't evil; Szpilman actually survived because a German captain who found him in hiding helped him hide in an attic and brought him food. i also really liked how that German captain, Horsenfeld, was so touched with Szpilman's piano playing and that's all that it took for him to help him out. that goes to show music does play a role in so many things. it's just sad that the German captain died in a camp later on. so anyway, i recommend this movie to all.

on the weather front, we're supposed to get 12"-18" of snow by the end of Monday. i rented 3 movies but i've already watched through all of them: My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Obsession, Session 9 . i won't have to go to school until Wednesday! woohoo! no class on Monday due to President's Day, no class on Tuesday cuz my Chem professor has an appointment.

as for my health, i'm developing a cold. it's quite annoying actually, sneezing, coughing, blowing my nose. i hope it goes away soon.

the unthinkable happened last night.....i got an A- on a Chem quiz!!!!!!! i'm going to cherish this moment forever LoL

on the other hand, i didn't do too well on my last Microbio quiz. i got 6/10 which is not good enough for me. i'm disappointed because i could've gotten 2 more correct answers if i had just picked my first choices. aaah! i fall for it all the time!

so are the rest of you freaked out about these possible terrorist attacks? have u bought your duct tapes to seal your windows with in case there's use of chemical/biological weapons? got your batteries?flashlights?portable battery-operated radios? 3 days worth of water and nonperishable goods?

rented Sweet Home Alabama today. it's such a sweet movie...i haven't cried such happy tears in a while. go rent it, it's adorable!

ooohh yeeeaaa...i finally bought my domain today and webhosting! only $8.75/yr for my domain name, and $24.95/yr for the hosting. that's a great deal! hopefully i'll get it up and running by next month cuz i'm still kinda new to this whole thing. but yeah, after i get webdesigning down, i'm not going to be updating this Xanga often anymore cuz i plan on having my own blog w/o ads and with my own layout and stuff.

we got snow again! i don't really want the snow, but at least i got a day off from school because of it

my sister and I finally saw Chicago! see, it's my sister's 17th birthday tomorrow, so i decided to treat her to a movie and some grub. that movie is awesome! Catherine Zeta-Jones is such a gorgeous woman and i loove her voice! it's smoky, sultry. i was quite surprised with Renee Zellweger; she was able to handle a tune. I'm very impressed and I'm glad she won that Golden Globe! the cell block tango scene was great. the whole movie rocked; it's a must-see. i'll definitely have to buy it on DVD when it comes out.

after we watched the movie we went inside the mall and we went to B. Dalton Booksellers. it's one of my usual stops when i go to the mall. i bought About A Boy by Nick Hornby and Dreamcatcher by Stephen King. the Dreamcatcher movie is coming out sometime in April so i want to read the whole book first before seeing it, something i should've done before i watched the Harry Potter and LOTR movies.

then we ate some Chick-Fil-A...yummae! and after we stuffed ourselves, i went to Musicland to buy the Chicago soundtrack. i like "When You're Good To Mama" and the many repetitions in "We Both Reached For the Gun". Chicago is definitely on my fave movies list!

i like Penang. it's this Malaysian restaurant with some bangin' food! i like it because it's one of the few places i get to eat spicy food. and also, the service is really fast.

::sighs:: it was only about 3 days ago when i thought that 35 degrees was hot, compared to 8 degrees. however, having 50 degrees for the past two days spoiled me and now that it's like 30 degrees again, i feel like i'm in Siberia.

damnit, people are so annoying here in the damn computer lab/media library place. i don't mean no offense to indian people because i do have friends who are Indian,and heck my only boyfriend was Indian. BUT, every single damn time i'm here at the computer lab, in the damn QUIET AREA, all these Indian cliques decide to just hang out with their friends, sit on the counters where the computers are, and just yack and yack their mouths away!!!! it's fucking annoying! i mean, damn, the walls have like a bunch of signs saying QUIET AREA, so goddamn be FUCKING QUIET!!! I don't want to hear about problems with your cell phone plans - T-Mobile, Cingular, Sprint- whatever...TAKE IT OUTSIDE!!!!!!!!!! eeeerrrrggghhhhh!!!! there are people who are trying to write their essays and want to concentrate, but they can't do that with all of them yackin'. i feel like bitch slapping this one girl right now that's sitting on the counter across from me. she's not even doing anything on the computer, just sitting her ass on the counter, taking up space, and annoying me with her voice. aaaaggggggggghhhhhhh!!!!! >:-O damn her voice is so damn annoying! i feel like taking her hoop earrings and yanking them off her ears!

what a difference a week makes! last monday it was like 5 degrees and today it was like 50 something degrees! it felt so much like spring already! btw, did the groundhog see its shadow?

anyway, microbio lab was interesting as always. and so was acting class. we played this game called Taxi and i played a drunk person. that was funnnn. then later on we learned the right way to introduce ourselves when we go on auditions and i only had to do it once!!! other people had to keep doing it like 4 times before they got it right. it was hard though because normally you don't think of "walk confidently, then come to a full stop, smile, say Good afternoon my name is so and so" so systematically. my friend Amanda wants me to audition for the school play "Once Upon A Mattress" tomorrow. i want to but i'm not sure...anyway, we'll see.
